November 15th, 2016

Volume 11-2016

Present at the meeting: Rod Erlandson, Jackie Stalsberg, Dayna Schultz, Gary Antoniewicz (absent) and Ron Humfeld, Zoning Sally Lindahl

Chairman Erlandson – discussed and explained the budget plan for 2017

Bob Schultz – he wanted to know what Delmore Consulting on Road Maint.  This is company that will track our roads, signs, culverts etc. This cost of approx. $17,000 for the first time around.  Once the road information is entered, this available for anyone to view.  This needed to be placed on the budget so it was available, if we do not use it, we will shift to another area of the budget.  We need to place on paper, so it shows.

We also set aside a new fund for “building” – this is the start of trying to build money for possible new building that may need to done for the townhall.  What would we do with current building? What would we do with the land?

Went through the lines on the budget – showing how we are trying to explain and expand the lines on the budget.  Trying to break categories down and being able to address more exact spending.  Rod explained that we have not taken the larger Levy amount for over 6 years, the board and floor agreed that we would need to take the additional $1689 that the levy was offering.

We have broken down the highway expenditures into categories

The floor was open to everyone to questions – no questions

The floor attendance needed a motion to accept the town levy of $331,762.   Motion made by Robert Schultz and 2nd by Sally Lindahl

Motion made to adjourn 2017 Budget Hearing. Made and seconded.  Sally Lindahl and Bob Schultz
